I completed my undergraduate medical education at the University of Queensland, graduating in 1990. Following my graduation, I undertook my internship at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane. In 1992, I moved to Melbourne to further my training at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, where I continued to work through 1993.
Upon returning to Brisbane, I pursued specialized training in general surgery, completing my General Surgery Fellowship through the Brisbane North Side General Surgery Training program in 1999.
From 1999 to 2002, I served as a staff general surgeon at both Redcliffe and Caboolture Hospitals. In 2002, I relocated back to Melbourne to embark on Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery training as part of the Victorian Training Scheme. My advanced training concluded in 2006 when I served as the Head and Neck Oncology Fellow at Monash Medical Centre in Melbourne.
In 2007, I returned to Brisbane with my wife and four sons to establish my ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat) Head and Neck practice. I am currently based at the Wesley Hospital in Auchenflower and North West Private Hospital.
Additionally, I consult and perform surgical procedures at the Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital, which allows me to provide intermediate care for pediatric patients.
